Seminars & Workshops
Over the past few years, a wide range of specialized computer software and equipment has been developed to cater for the different learning styles of children with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. At L.E.A.R.N. we continually research and review new products designed for students with learning difficulties and run seminars and workshops for parents and teachers on how to use this technology to support their children.
These workshops provide parents and teachers with an understanding of how computer software can be used to support children who learn differently. They also learn what programs are available, the benefits of using computers to help overcome learning difficulties and how to evaluate and select appropriate software to suit their children's needs. The presentations include demonstrations of a variety of specifically designed, educationally sound, multi-sensory computer programs to help children who have difficulties with reading, spelling, writing and maths.
We also run Expos once or twice a year to introduce you to and let you experience the extensive range of products available to help children with Dyslexia and other learning difficulties. This is a hands-on opportunity to try out programs and enjoy a truly multi-sensory experience.
